End of Year Giving Campaign

Upper Seven Law isn’t your typical law firm—it’s rare.

Bold.

Powered by imagination and integrity.

This holiday season, the “Unicorn of Law Firms” giving campaign celebrates what makes U7L unique: collaboration, creativity, and courage—the hallmarks of Upper Seven Law and the community that powers it.

Make magic with us.

What makes Upper Seven Law a unicorn?

We’re a 501(c)(3) law firm that sues to hold the powerful accountable to the Constitution, one clause at a time. We litigate for justice, not profit—because every Montanan’s rights matter. We defend Montanans’ right to vote, to know, to learn, to breathe clean air, and to live free. We’re the law firm that sues for your rights and your freedoms.

From now until the end of the calendar year, all donations to Upper Seven Law will receive limited edition gifts.

$19.72 - Time to Sparkle

Sit back and relax with a warm winter beverage and your very own 1972 Montana Constitution-inspired mug! “In consideration of the next seven generations” reminds us of our shared mission to advance social justice and public interest objectives for our communities today and those to come.

$100 - Make Magic

The Montana Constitution explicitly guarantees its citizens the right to a clean and healthful environment. Celebrate this commitment with a tote bag featuring the art of young Montanan Audrey Hawkaluk (age 7), one of two winners of Upper Seven’s fall art competition!

$250 - Gallop Together

The Montana Constitution codified Indian Education for All in Article X, § 2. This limited-edition T-shirt features the artwork of Phillip Lamere, Jr., a student at East Helena High School, who was inspired by this important provision in his work titled “We Are Still Here.” Phillip was one of two winners of Upper Seven’s fall art competition!

$500 - Wield the Horn of Justice

Wield the horn of justice with a new “Ask Me About Separation of Powers” sweatshirt. And if you’re worried about forgetting the details, don’t be! All you have to do is turn around—the sweatshirt’s back features the text of Article III, § 1 of the Montana Constitution, establishing the separation of powers among the state's three branches of government: executive, legislative, and judicial.

$1,000 - Ride Rainbows

Celebrate the beauty of Montana with a brilliant metal print of Minnesota artist Scott Wolff’s wildlife photography. Prints will be approximately 8”x10.”

The Upper Seven team will pick out a photograph for you. In the meantime, check out more of Scott’s work on Instagram @swolff55!

$5,000 - Join the Shimmer

Join the shimmer—we wear awesome robes! “Even unicorns need rest” and an exhausted unicorn are embroidered on the front of this spa-style robe. And the day’s orders—“sue, rest, repeat”—are embroidered on back.

We’ll be in touch as we process your donation—if you’ve got a different robe design you love, we’re happy to embroider it for you!
